Autocreating Numbered Lists

I told onenote to stop automatically creating numbered lists. I cannot
figure out how to turn it back on. It will still automatically do bulleted
lists, but not numbered

What version of OneNote are you using? Have you tried Tools | Options |Editing
| Apply Numbering to lists automatically?
