autofill copying a row to several rows

i have a standard spreadsheet with a list of products with seven properties,
being the columns and each product being a seperate row. In order to import
this data into another program i need to copy the data to another sheet but
for each product i need the first 3 properties (columns A to C) to be in a
row and then then the next 4 properties (columns D to G) to be in their own
seperate rows and column1. ie

original

prod a prop1 prop2 prop3 prop4 prop5 prop6
prod b prop1 prop2 prop3 prop4 prop5 prop6

desired
prod a prop1 prop2
prop3
prop4
prop5
prop6
prod b prop1 prop2
prop3
prop4
prop5
prop6

The original file is large so i need to have a way of referencing in the new
sheet which allows me to autofill or do i need a macro to do this ? So far
when i try to do this i have a problem when autofilling that rows from the
original sheet are missed out because of the way a cell is referenced
relative to the cell that will hold the result and the result cells row
number is increasing by 7 for each product but the original sheets product
row only increases by one.
Any suggestions much appreciated
