AutoFilter ALWAYS shows the 1st ROW...

I select a column say A containing CustomerNumber

If I select the 1st items in the column the filter is correct
If I choose ANYOTHER ROW CustomerNo) to filer on
I ALWAYS get 1st item !!

What am I doing wrong...???

If you list doesn't have heading cells, the first item in each column
will be treated as a heading. It will remain visible, no matter what you
select from the dropdown list.

Insert a blank row just above the point you want to start your filtering.
