AutoFilter Failure

In the new and improved Office 2003, filters just stop working. You'll have
to deactivate the filters, unhide the rows and reactivate the filters. Does
anybody know why this is happening? Is there any way to avoid this problem?

HI,
i'm having the same problem but i cannot reactivate filters. i mus
quit the excel application altogether, restart excel and turn the aut
filter back on. then i can use it. but it locks up intermittently an
i must go thru the same process over and over.

have you been given any information on this probelm?
