How do I activate AutoFormat in a Word document that has already been created?
I am using Microsoft 2003 Professional Offfice program.

What exactly are you trying to do??

If you are looking for Word to automatically format a document then
there are specifics the AutoFormat functionality looks for in a
document. Click the Options button in the AutoFormat dialog box to
view the formats that will be applied. If the document doesn't contain
say, a short paragraph followed by two paragraph marks, or
indentations, etc then it will not apply built-in Heading styles or
other paragraph styles, which is what I suspect is the results you are
after.
