autokeys macros and runtime app

How does access implement an autokeys macro? Can someone explain.

Is it something that runs everytime a user presses the key combination
specified in the autokeys macro?

Is it something that is set up when the app opens like an autoexec macro?

Is it likely to give any errors?

I can't see any way to convert it to code - when I run the convert macro to
code routine on the autokeys macro, a sub is created with the name of the
autokeys and with error handling, but there is not any code in it.

Has anyone used an autokeys macro with a runtime app and would be willing to
say if they found any problems with it or not.

thanks

You've already asked this, and have been told that there should be no
problems using it with a runtime app.

Thanks to both of you, Larry and Doug. I will definitely use the autokeys
macro now.
