Automate Excel from Access

I am running some automation from Access. I have opened an Excel workbook,
but when I do so, it becomes the primary object on screen, rather than my
Access
application. I would like to minimize the Excel window once it is open and
visible.

Anyone know how to accomplish this?

BTW, I've cross posted this to the Office Developer - Automation group
because I have not figured out how to multi-post from the Office Discussion
Groups web page. I know there is an "Advanced Options", but have not figured
out how to actually enter the USENET designation to get it to post to
multiple groups simultaneously. Would appreciate some help with this as well.
