Automate update of Enterprise Custom Fields

Hi. I hope some-one can help me. I work in application support but hav
very little experience with MS Project Server (long story).

Anyway, we have over 100 projects currently on Project Server and som
of them are now 100% completed. One of the things that PMs have to d
is go into the Project > Project Info menu and update the Projec
Status (which is an Enterprise Custom field). However recently we foun
that the PMs were forgetting to do this.... so.....

I was approached and asked to investigate whether it's possible t
automate the update of this field when-ever a project is 100
completed.

If anyone knows if this is possible and how.... I would be eternall
grateful.

Thanks for alerting me to this. I followed the link you sent, but there
is no URL on the item (24) guiding me to the newgroup. I checked
everywhere else on the site and still could not find it. I would

The URL for the english versions of the newsgroups is:

The three active MS Project newsgroups are listed under Microsoft
Project

Hi Ella,

Using a newsgroup reader like Outlook Express is the most efficient way of using newsgroups. If you must use web communities, then search Google for the name of the newsgroup: microsoft.public.project.server. Or try here: http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...spx?lang=en&cr=US&dg=microsoft.public.project and on the left, hover over Microsoft Project and select server.
