Greetings: I want to set up a topical database using multiple tabs, each tab
representing a particular subtopic in the overall database. Under each tab, I
would like to have a form with a series of check boxes, such that when I
check a particular box, I can eventually create a report that compiles a
report based upon the content of a text field associated with that check box.
In my work, I have to perform assessments and depending upon what I find
'wrong', the content of the overall assessment report can vary, but the
description and associated recommendation for each individual assessment item
checked is pretty much the same every time.
Any thoughts on how best to organize this database? I was think of one table
with an ID field, a description field, and a recommendation field. However,
I'm not certain how to put it all together. Any examples would be appreciated.
Thanks
John
