I have my complete store inventory on Access 97. I generate various Queries
to create my web site (www.software-xchange.com). The primary key is now an
autonumber field.
I am looking to do three things to simplify data entry and update.
1st - Change the Primary key to UPC barcodes.
2nd - Scan the barcode (and if possible a second method of typing the title)
and have the record open so I can edit.
3rd - End of year inventory - walk around and scan all items on the shelf
and then use this data to update the main database.
I am a one man operation and NOT an Access power user. Please keep it
simple (if possible). I have tried to build a form from the one table and
cannot get the 2nd item above to work.
