Automatic Formatting - How to apply rule to all subfolders?

Hi, I have set up a automatic formatting rule to color messages in green
where subject contains "ABCD" (i.e. Tools > Organize > Using Colors >
Automatic Formatting...).

I created the rule on the Inbox level. How can I apply the same rule to all
subfolders? Or do I have to create the same rule in each and every subfolders?

Have done a search in the Discussion Groups but have not found anything yet.
Many thanks!

Automatic formatting rules are part of views so you just need to apply the
view to the other folders- however, its possible you now have a 'one off'
view - in which case you have two choices - with the view applied, go to
View, Define views and copy <<current view>>. Make sure you use the option
for all folders. Apply this view to the other folders.

The second method erases all custom views and you start over - it’s a little
more work but the changes apply to all folders using that view. See
http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/grouping.htm for the method - substituting
autoformatting for group by.

Thanks Diane. I modified the "Messages" view instead of the "Current view
settings" which is applied to all folders.
