You must be one of the few users who actually wants this feature. On the
AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools | AutoCorrect, check the box for
"Automatic borders." Also, see http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/CantGetRidOfLine.htm for
information on some other borders you can create this way.
