the othe workbook. I always say yes. But the problem is that it alway
asks. I want this to always run without asking because the workboo
always starts when window starts but the info is not accessible t
another program that needs it because it doesn't run until I say yes t

To disable the prompt to update links when a workbook is opened:

1) On the Tools menu, click Options...
2) On the Edit tab, clear the 'Ask to update automatic links
checkbox.
3) Click OK.
4) Save & close the workbook.

The next time you open the workbook, you do not get the prompt dialog

Thanks Dude, That works except that the Excel workbook starts before th
the other remote program starts. Excel need data from the other progra
to run. Is there a way to delay Excel from starting until the othe
program had started. There is no way for me to make the other pro
start Excel. I have them all in the start folder now and Excel star
first. Can I do this through Windows setting or other ways

Remove the shortcut to Excel from the start folder.

Place it on your desktop or Quick Launch bar.

Start Excel manually after the remote program has been loaded.

OR do a 'net search for some sort of startup manager.
