I wonder if the ON team is really considering these suggestions.

I can not say anything in so far.
But I really wonder that for a very long time there has been no feedback
from the developers.
That's quite different from the situation prior to v. 2007.
I will be very frustrated if in the next version some of the
suggestions are not considered. For example if global template
suggestion will not be there I will be very disappointed.

All we users can do is waiting.
We'll know a bit more when public access to the Beta will be enabled.

The suggestions are being looked at, however, due to limited time and
resources, it is not always possible to provide a timely response to
every suggestion.
Also, even if a particular feature request does not get implemented in
the version currently under development, it might still make its way
into a future version.

Thanks for your reply.

Acknowledged but if you really want to encourage frequent, quality input via
the Connect system, something more than zero feedback would be appreciated.

I, for one, have reluctantly given up monitoring Connect for the time being
until Microsoft shows some presence there.

I get the time argument but not the limited resources argument. MS is a big
company with a lot of money. What kind of resources can be limited here?

After all, programming many of the suggestions should not be difficult. I
mean considering a global template should take no longer than a few days.
And we are talking about 2010, 3 years after 2007.

Well said.
To be honest: Someway feel frustrated seeing that NULL response.

I agree Minimus. The lack of resources argument always baffles me.

If Messrs Ballmer, Capposela, Sinofsky et al want it to happen, it happens.
