Automatic picture downloading doesn't always work?

Hi, I'm trialling Office 2003 Standard and in the Security tab of Options
I have "Don't download pictures or other content automatically in HTML
e-mail" ticked. However, this doesn't seem to work for all mail. In fact,
right now in my "Junk E-mail" folder I have 3 mails with images loaded.
What's going on? In some of my other junk mails they are NOT loaded and
have a message stating to right-click them to download them. I cannot
find any pattern or logic to this... what am I missing? Thanks.

Nobody else got this? Seriously?

I did a "View source" of one such mail and it appears the image is
being displayed via this HTML snippet:

<a href="http://www.url.com"><img src="cid:147100c4d3c0$2180fea0$368aa2c0@TPZXRYB"></a>

So, it seems Office 2003 can't detect that these are images, and
goes ahead and allows them to be viewed. :(
