automatic reminders

Is there some setup I can do so that reminders do not automatically attach to
appointments. I want to put reminders on the items I need... not take
reminders OFF everything I don't need.

Under Tools->Options (in Outlook) uncheck the default reminder box in the
Calendar options.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.
