Automatically Accepting Meeting Requests Does Not Work

We have a mixed environment of Outlook 2k - 2003. All are on Windows XPP.

We are having a problem with meeting requests not being automatically
accepted. It is as though you don't have the option selected to
automatically accept...

I am having the exact same problem on a homogeneous
environment (Outlook 2k on Winodws 2k)with all users
having exchange service only in their profile. My weak
handwaving guess is some kind of permissions violation.
Please let me know if you find a solution.
