automatically delete cancelled events from a resource calender

I have set up a resource as an AD object and have been able to schedule it
in the calender. When the meeting is canceled the event is deleted in my
calender, but not the calender of the resource, it is shown as canceled. Is
there a way to automatically delete cancelled events from a resource
calender
