Hello,

I am looking for a feature I know from Outlook. There you can automatically change the color of the calender entries once added to the calender. I can not find this feature in Entourage. Is there anyway to do this or does anyone have a script for this.

Thanks a lot,
Nicole

What do you mean by "automatically"? Based on what criteria?

You can use Categories in Entourage to apply a color to events in the
Calendar. Select your event and then select Edit menu --> Categories.

Hope this helps!

In Outlook I can say that if the subject of an entries is for example "Is ->" than make it the category with color blue. In Entourage I have to manually click on the entry and than select the category.

Any ideas?

I've never heard of this type of "conditional formatting" in Outlook but
then again, I don't use the application to do that.

The only formatting that Entourage can apply is with rules applied to
incoming messages. You can set up rules for every type of formatting
you'd like and apply a category with color of your choice. Then you can
switch to Calendar view, select "All Events" under Calendar Views,
select all your events on the right and apply rules manually. This will
have the same effect but will not be quite as automatic.

Hope this helps!
