I'm using a spreadsheet to track record information for shows at the
television station where I work. We track which sattelite it was
recorded with, which deck was recorded on and if there were issues with
the recording. The operators write this information on a paper sheet
and I copy it into Excel.
The problem is, not every show record each day. So I have placed
blacked out areas on the sheet. When I move my cursor using the arrors
into these black boxes though it still lands on them. It would be nice
if I could just press the down arror and jump over these boxes
automaticall so I can type in the numbers more efficiently.
ie - 1 <down> 1 <down> 2 <down> 2< down> 1 <down> etc. Without having
to pay attention to if I'm on a black box or not.
Here's a snapshot of the worksheet

Any suggestions if this is even possible? More information available if
needed.
