you probably need a VBA macro. Have a look at http://www.ozgrid.com/VBA/pivot-table-refresh.htm

You can refresh your pivots upon opening your file without having to plug in a macro.

Go to your Pivot table options, you should see a Data tab, just check the Refresh data when opening the file checkbox.
