automatically running PP slideshow...

Hello,

I have several PPSS's on my PC, some automatically run
when they are double clicked, others just go into
the "view" section of PP, which then requires an F5 to get
it running. I've spent tons o' time looking, but cannot
figure out how to get a slideshow to run automatically
when the file icon is double clicked ??? HELP

Ken,

The trick si with the last 3 letters of the filename, known as the
"extension". ppt will open in PowerPoint, while pps will run automatically
when activated as a slideshow. Change the extension to pps.details in here:
