Hello everyone,
I pull information from an internet database in Excel format on a dail
basis. A lot of this information I am having to compile into a fe
workbooks. I am looking for a way to save these files as sheet withi
thier appropriate workbook rather than having to cut and paste the dat
one file at a time. If the data was the same every time, I would jus
set up a macro to compile the sheets - which I have already done wit
several of them that -are- the same every day. However, a lot of th
data I pull changes on a daily basis.
For example, Let's say I download 5 files as follows:
1 sales for item 1
2 sales for item 2
3 sales for item 3
4 inventory for warehouse 1
5 inventory for warehouse 2
Now I have to put the first three files in one workbook and the las
two in another workbook. The file names change as well. Is there
way to save these to their appropriate workbook without having to cu
and paste?
Thanks to anyone who replies,
