Automatically turn emails into tasks

If I run a rule to move emails into the Task folder can I automatically turn
the emails into tasks or is dragging the only way to this?

You will need to drag and drop.

Thank you for your response. I suspected that this would be the answer but
was hoping that their might be a scrpit or macro to do carry out the change
of status.

Since I don't do Outlook programming, any answer I gave would only be a
guess.

Try posting to an Outlook programming group for assistance or query
http://www.outlookcode.com to see if code snippets already exist to do this.

In addition to dragging a mail to the task area, there seems to be no way to
'' complete' the task. Deleting the task, removes it from one's inbox as
well. Anyone with a solution?
