automating "imported" tables...without Linking

Hi,

I realize I can Link tables for automation, but because I need to access 2
different databases; which requires a password prompt for each, I was just
going to 'import' and hope I could automatically update (refresh) the
data...somehow. Is there around my problem.

Linked tables (or queries that have the same effect) are usually the
simplest way of letting one database access current data in other
databases. What's the problem with the passwords? Maybe one or other
