Automation of tasks

I'm not sure where to put this question, so i'm just gonna try here. Also i'm
not sure about the terminology, in the English version of office, as i'm from
Denmark and uses a danish translation of the Office package, so kindly bear
with me.

What i need help with is linking assignments/task(ex. i have a term paper
due maj 5 2009) in Outlook, with a document template in Word.
What i would like to do is to go into office calendar, see what assignments
i've got due, open the assignment, and from there open a document that has
the header(top of every page in the document) named as follows:
My name, the name of the assignment, due date.
Is this at all possible.
I know this probably makes me seem lazy, but i just hate repetitious work.

Thanks in advance
Warm regards
Bo Nielsen

P.S. Correction of spelling and terms are highly appreciated. I'd like to
learn it sooner rather than later. Thanks again.

No, not lazy at all, you will just need to build all the programming to
do this "automatic" linking and labeling along with the needed
templates. I suggest you forgo the "envisioned automation", and just set
up a Word template that reflects the design you need to use. Then when
you create the document for your assignment, put a hyperlink to it in
the "task" you create for the "due date".

Thanks for the reply.
Yes that would do it, in part. Was just hoping for some kinda build in
script, but guess no such luck. oh well. I'll manage. Was just curious.

You're welcome but that is a pretty extensive "custom" procedure you are
looking to perform, so not too likely to come as part of a default
software package.
