Autosave items not automactically deleted after those items were sent

We are using Outlook 2000 SP1 with the security patch on
Windows 2000 Advance Server running application mode.
Some of our users are noticing that autosave emails in
the draft folders are not automatically deleted after
they have sent those emails.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
