Yes, Tools, Options, Save, Auto Save and you insert the time frame.

You might want to check into Shyam's Sequential Save.
http://www.mvps.org/skp/seqsave.htm It actually saves a backup file of
your presentation. AutoSave in PPT doesn't do that.
