AutoShapes Fill Color Question

Greetings:

Is there a way to draw to intersecting circles and then shade (fill color)
the middle region representing the intersection of the two disks?

Hi Len

If you have Word 2002 or 2003, there is a tool for that sort of thing
(called a Venn diagram). Display the Drawing toolbar and click the
button "Insert Diagram or Organizational Chart" (the button shows
three balls on a circle). In the dialog, choose the center item in the
bottom row. When the diagram appears, it's also accompanied by a
Diagram toolbar with tools for formatting and revising the picture.

In Word 2000 and earlier, you'll have to do all the work yourself, and
you'll probably find that it's easier to do in a graphics program than
in Word.

This is a considerable PITA. On the other hand, if you are willing to
use rectangles rather than circles, it is trivial.
