AutoText and AutoComplete in Word 2003

What is the minimum number of characters for an auto text entry and the
minimum number of characters for an auto text entry name? What is the
minimum number of characters in the entry name in order to be able to use
auto complete?

I have read that 5 is the min number of characters in the entry for auto
complete to work. Then why doesn’t the auto text name zban not insert the
entry banks into a document without pressing F3?
