When I use the AutoText feature, while typing a letter, and hit enter to place the AutoText in the document, it replaces the shortcut text with the intended text but also moves the cursor to a new line. The feature is supposed to save time but having to move the cursor back up to the original line is not saving time. Even if I hit the F3 button it does the same thing. Can anyone help?

What you're seeing is the result of creating an AutoText entry with an
entire paragraph selected. Have you tried to redefine the AutoText
entry without the paragraph mark included?
