Autothumbnail in FP2000

I have hundreds of pictures that I need to create thumbnails for. I love
the Autothumbnail tool, but right now I have to place each picture in a
page, then click on the picture, click on Autothumbnail, then save the page.
My question is this: is there a way to do a bulk Autothumbnail? preferably
without placing the pictures on a page?

PS>The reason I need the thumbnails is for a catalog site that is database
driven...hence the pictures are not perminantly residing on any single page.
