autoupdate temporary download location

Hi,

As for many people, my 12.1.9 automatic update failed. Manually updating worked fine.

Since the autoupdate was aborted before finishing, I wonder if there is some temporary download file left. Where would be the place to look for that?

After you download the update you'll find it by following this path:

Youruserfolder/Library/Caches/TemporaryItems/16807Office 2008 12.1.7 Update
The Temporary in TemporaryItems should give you a clue as to what happens.
When you quit the Installer application, the update package vanishes as it
was intended for temporary use only.
