Available Fields blank in wizard

I created a table, entered data and want to create a report. When I open the
report wizard my table is visible in the "table" combo, but there are no
fields showing in the "Available Fields" area or the "Selected Fields" area.

Try creating a query from the table then report from query.

Alternative - create using design view and not the wizard.

The same problem exists with queries. When I add fields directly to a
report they don't display the data. This makes me feel that it is a problem
with the database engine, but when I try to update the Jed Database Engine I
am told that I am up to date.

Any more ideas?
