available fields

Hello,

In design mode, I go to my field chooser, select my category which is the
name of my form, and suddenly, all the fields I created are not there. It
says "(no fields availble)". This has worked correctly for months and
suddenly the avaialable fields have disapeared.
Please help. Much thanks!

How did you create the fields? Did you try looking under "User-defined fields in folder"?

I create the fields in design mode using the field chooser. In the
User-defined category, only some of the fields show up but not all.

There are two "user-defined" lists -- in this folder and in this item. The exact steps that you took to create the fields and add controls for them to your form will determine where they appear. See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/fields.htm. You can always try adding a field again.
