AVERAGE function

I typed the formula =AVERAGE(P8107) and the program returned a hypen -
where the result was supposed to go. Yet when I clicked on the fx formula
bar, the poput window came up and showed the correct result. Why doesn't it
show up on my spreadsheet?

Try widening the column, and also reformatting the cell to general
formatting
