AVI Files

Hello.
I have WMP 9 installed but i cannot play AVI files. It
needs a codec and i can't download it.
What codec is this and where can i find it?

Dude you are in a Microsoft access database newsgroup. Having said that
all codecs are available from microsoft.com. Certain codecs are not
understood by all media players so depending on the file you have, MS media
player may or may not recognize the format.....hope that helps
