AVI in presentation

Is there a size limit to the AVI that has to be present in order for the movie to run smoothly? When installed in presentation, I have sound that moves as it should, but the picture does not run at the same speed. In viewer, it works just fine.

I'm sure its limited according to the processor of your machine, your ram
memory, and the video ram on your video card. I dont think there is a
standard answer for this.

Consider upgrading to PowerPoint 2003 or try the viewer. It may give you a
better playback on the AVI files.

PowerPoint has always relied heavily on the MCI 'Media Player', and not
'Windows Media Player'. With the names of the programs so similar, one
often gets mistaken for the other.
