AVI Video Link in Powerpoint: Powerpoint saves absolute path, notrelative path

Hello, I need your help:

I want to create a powerpoint2000 presentation which will be saved on CD, together with
an AVI-video. One slide includes the AVI (as link). My Question:

How can I force powerpoint to save only the relative path to the AVI-file.

When I write the presentation and the AVI-video in one directory on the CD and I play
the CD back on an other PC, Powerpoint didn't find the video, because it has saved the
link to the original video file (e.g. c:/presentation/video.avi)
I have to browse for the file

What can I do?

Put the video file in the same folder as the presentation. Then, and only then,
insert the video in the presentation. This way the link created will be
"relative" to the location of the presentation file. If you now move the two
files to a CD the link will work. See also:
