avoiding duplicate emails

I think the rules I have set up in Outlook 2002 are causing me to
have multiple copies of spam email.

These rules have grown and have quite lengthy lists of key words and
domain names. I am very confused how to use the "stop processing all
following rules". If I have a rule on subject and a separate rule on
an unwanted domain surely i need to let both rules run?

Also I cannot see how to modify a rule to add the "stop processing
all following rules" as it says that all information in that rule
will be lost.
