Avoiding Getpivotdata function

Hi

When referencing to data in a pivot table, Excel automaticall
allocates the 'Getpivotdata' function. How can I avoid this? (note,
have just moved to Excel 2000/XP and did not have this issue in th
previous version)

There are instructions here for turning that feature off, by using the
Generate GetPivotData button.
