Avoiding "proper" format in cells

Is there a setting for cells that makes text appear as though it was
=proper()? If I type in AName (first two letters uppercase) in a
generally formatted cell my Excel2000 automatically makes it Aname when
I hit enter. Can I turn this annoyance off somehow?

TIA.

Within Excel, Click Tools-->AutoCorrect Options and deselect the "Correct
TWo INitial CApitals" option.

Well done! Silly me thought it would be in Tools > Options. Thanks Rob!
