Avoiding #value

=IF(G12<>0,G12*F12,"") - this formula works fine when the target cell
(g12) has a number in it or is blank. If, though, they have a space or
letter, it gives the #value! What can I add to the formula to keep it
from the #value! result?

=IF(AND(G12<>0,ISNUMBER(G12)),G12*F12,"")
