You need costed resources assigned to activities, a Baseline, and a Status
Date.
Do you have these?

cario,
Did you set a baseline? If not, then those earned value metrics will
show as 0.00. Also, have you entered progress with respect to a status
date? Is calculation set for "automatic"? All of these things can affect
whether earned value metrics are calculated.

Earned value fields (e.g. BAC, BCWS, BCWP) are calculated automatically
by Project. They cannot be entered manually by the user.

Thanks for the reply, resources are costed and assigned to activities.
However, the Baseline value is 0.00. Total cost, Variance and actual the
value are available and automatically calculated.

Consider manual cost tacking:
Tools/Options/Calculations. Make appropriate selections to allow you to
enter the costs manually. Note that when you enter costs, it has to be on a
line by line level. Seldom are costs tracked this low.

We have some summary cost lines that we use with no resources assigned, only
accummulated costs.
