back button always returns to first hyperlink

I have a large document with multiple hyperlinks. In Word 2000, the back
button returns to the hyperlink I just clicked on, however in Word 2003, it
always returns me to the first hyperlink I clicked on. What changed with the
new version, what setting do I need to change? Thanks for your help!!
