To edit newer Excel worksheets I have in the past back-saved them in Excel 5,
but now any I save in this way say they are read-only when I try to save
edits, or announce that there is an error and close down. What can I do? I
onl have Excel 5 and Windows ME, and have to back-save newer Excel files on
other PCs.
