Which is the file I need to export in order to back up the entire setup?
Address book, e-mails, calendar, etc.
Can I just copy the existing file from the settings folder instead of
exporting a new one? If so what file is it or how does one accomplish?

Appreciate the feedback.

Unless you are on Exchange Server, then do NOT use the export function.
The file you need that contains all your Outlook data is called (by default)
Outlook.pst.
The location of this varies depending on your OS and version of Windows..

Copy the .pst file. It's a hidden file. When you reinstall Outlook, open
the backed up .pst file with File/Open/Outlook Data File and then browse
to where you've put the backed up .pst file. Then move or copy your
messages, contacts, etc. to the new .pst file that Outlook created by
being reinstalled. This will back up everything but your accounts,
signatures and n2k. When you're done, right click on the top of the old
..pst folder tree and choose "close".
