If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups). The links under the newsgroup
references are for use with MS's web newsreader (not exactly the best way to
post but it works for some people)
Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, LW asked:
| Is there a way to back-up my e-mail in Outlook Express?
|
| Thanks for any help
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{21450DC5-EC49-4D66-8FD1-06E98DE5666C}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\Inbox.dbx
On my windows XP system you can use the following path above to find your
outlook express folder where all the files are stored. User name is what
name you use to log into windows with. and then after Identities you will
have another folder name but will not be exactly as above since this changes
with all accounts. Once you get to the Outlook Express folder I would save
the folder because each Inbox Outbox etc has its on file name and coping the
Outlook Express folder should catch it all.
Another way is to look under File when you have outlook express open and try
using the export feature.
