Background changes and cell protection?

Hi group

I have been trying to get this done for ages and looked at loads of sites
but to no avail!

I have trying to get a background picture pasted behind my cells.

Then I want to have only about four cells that are active for data entry,
the rest of the sheet I would like completely blocked and password
protected.
