Background color using CSS

P

Peter

With FP 2003, I want to turn the background of all my web pages from white
(default) to another color (green). If I follow the directions in the HELP,
I open a Normal Style Sheet. However the Format/Background option is grayed
out.

How do I do what I want to do? Thanks!

I am new too, but I think I read somewhere that when you apply a theme, this
disables functionality which would cause the theme to be spoilt.

Hi,

I am also a newbie, but I have used this to change my email page backgrounds
for Christmas/Easter etc. using the following.

1) Create a new CSS file.
2) Select Format->Style from the menu.
3) In the pop up select List->HTML Tags
4) Select 'Body' in the scroll box.
5) Select Format->Border
6) Then select Shading.
7) Now select your Background colour.
8) Save you CSS file.
9) Select Folders view of your website.
10) Select Format->Style Sheet Links
11) Select 'All Pages' radio button, then select the CSS file you have just
created by selecting 'Add' to bring up a file selection.
12) Select 'OK'
13) Now all you web pages will have the new background.
14) Don't forget to upload all changed files in the website this time, then
in the future you need only change the CSS file to change the background and
only upload the CSS file.

Hope this helps?

All the best,
Martin.
